1. no..i dont like to blog.

2. need to type. need to think. need to filter my words

3. not so much as i am not to writing. i don't like to write. maybe only in term of how to expressing my thoughts and feeling

6. there are no freedom in expressing my creativity ( video assigment...do all video need to be 'positive' theme/message? video is about expressing our own thoughts and feeling..not to follow the trends of viewer-the video is not for marketing purposes, so it should depends on the video producers' own thoughts on how the video should look like..)

9. change the lecturer...give more guidance and teach on how to use the software..do not barely giving task without teaching the students first..and focus only to 1 software..not relevant using many software for one purposes...for the tutorial, use only one, either powerpoint or words...waste of time doing one thing twice...

week 13 - hectic

again a task..
why it must be given only by the end of semester? don't the lecturer ever thought that we also have other things to do? (assignments, reading)

11th week-group presentation

this week is for presentation on article that we have been assigned last few weeks. the task is done in group. the class is combined with Tuesday class. that's all..

9th week-anger

this week we need to create a video. it's a pair work. my pair is Asmah. before we go for discussion in pair, she showed us video about Taiwanese drama star. then we go for discussion in pair. but one thing that i dont like about this day is when the lecturer come to my place and telling me stop playing with the chair, get closer,bla bla bla. what the hell? because of just playing a bit with the chairs, she wanted to claimed that i does not doing my work? i just simply answered her that we have our own way to discuss. you are not me and i am not you. that's it. i loose my temper because of that. i'm not the one who make the mistakes. that's her mistakes.

8th week-submission

7th week-complie assignment

Task 1 - E-book plus tutorial
task 2 -photo editing plus tutorial
task 3 - audio editing plus tutorial
these are the three things that we need to compile and submit on next week. then the session of playing song where i don't like it because the song is in Korean and there is no way for me to understand it (i don't know about the lecturer whether she understand it or not...for me useless to listen on something that i could not understand...it was just wasting my time).
then she tell us about audacity and sony vegas (audio and video editing software)

6th week- e-book

this week is for e-book lesson. here we need to came out with our own e-book. first the lecturer shows us how to create an e-book using power point, the give a task of making e-book to us. we need to came out with the storyboard first. after i show my story board and get the green light from her, i do it at home.

5th week- photo editing

this week is for photo editing. so after the lecturer explain how to use fotofx (image editing software), i immediately do the task. i took a photo of Maya Karin and managed to edit it to look like an old picture. after i post it at photobucket under the lecturer account.

4th week-no internet

supposedly this week class is for lecture on searching for pdf. file, searching for mp3 file and searching for picture. then the lecturer shifted to assigned us for group work. we came out with presentation on chapter one (forgot the title of the book).

class review 23/07/09

For this class, we make a presentation fro the chapter 1 of "Teaching English in the Primary Classroom. my group (safian, ayu, narren, doc, & me) has been assigned to present the topic 1.5, the role of imagination.

Through imagination, children are given the chances to play with any symbols/characters/objects to deliver heir message to adult. This could promote to develop their creative thinking skills, as well as critical thinking skills. imagination also, can be use by the teacher in learning by prompting the childre. Here, the children capability could be pushed beyond their existing level as there ae scafolding from the teacher (Zone of Proximal Development).

We also being taught on how to find mp3 file from the internet. The task is find MJ last song. it was abit confusing for me to find that song;only manage to get it when the lecturer give the title

Apart from the confusion during the mp3 searching, the task was very useful for me as that was the first time I am using the button print screen, and this could help me in finishing this course assiignments.

review second week (16 july 2009-thursday)

for the last week class, we had been divided into six group and each of the group need to present each chapter in the first chapter of the Teaching English in the Primary Classroom.
my group had been assigned to the fifth topic of the group, "the role of imagination in learning".
imagination as we know, play vital role not only in the early stage of learning, but also the later stage, which mean it works from the young learner to adult learner.

for young learner, it works for them as they still developing their cognitive and could not think abstractly, and this could help to develop their cognitve. this could be done through the usage of pictures and videos. the pictures and videos should reflect the real life experience and situation. this is because to allow them to relate with their real life situation. from there, the teacher could promote the learners to speak regarding on what the had imagined by assisst of pictures and videos.

for our assignment, i choose photo editing group. why do i choose photo?
i believe that a single picture contain thousand words, and throug picture, young learners can use their imagination to express their idea freely. the learning process will be in fun and meaningfull.

Hello everyone...
This is my first posting for my new blog. A blog that i will used to post anything related to PBEY 3102 subject, "Using and developing Resources for the ESL Classroom". A subject that require us to learn on how to produce teaching aids or any resources that will help in the students' learning process. Hopefully, i can learn many new things regardning on producing a usefull teaching aids and a resourse in teaching and learning classroom.

Actually it takes me almost 10 minutes to start the sentence above. You may asking why? The reason is the idea just don' come easily to my brain. And the same problem will happen everytime i wanted to write or type about something. i guess writing is not my talent. LOL
I will stop here because I really don't have the idea to write further more. My brain is draining.
